Broadband Sales Representative
It is the
responsibility of the Net Star telecom sales representative to
provide the new and effective solutions to the clients who are
related to internet, broadband connections, wireless, long
distance, wide area and local area networking and telecom
expenses. It is his responsibility to work out new business and
to maintain the existing clients and the business.
A candidate
will need to be familiar with evaluating business phone bills
and have a working knowledge of telecom circuit types.
The position
is a base plus performance.
Duties and Responsibilities –A Net Star
candidate:
-
Sells
Internet bandwidth to mid-sized and enterprise level
prospects from 1.0 to 100Mbps.

Should
meet
assigned sales objective and exceed monthly sales quota
-
Should know
about the demographic details of his customer base and must
be able to identify and qualify potential customers by
telephone, and premise visits.

Updates Sales Force automation tool with all
required client information.
-
Must
develop, maintain and handle customer complaints and
inquires.
-
Learns about
the prospect's communication needs and develops solutions to
meet those needs.

Must be up
to date with the latest industry trends and technical
advancements and apply them in his work

Maintains
on-going relationships with existing clients for sales
references, up-sell, and referral.
Skills and Specifications – Net Star sales
basics:

A telecom
sales representative must have good work ethics
-
Must have
excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Must be
industrious as such a job involves a lot of traveling and
leg work
-
Should be
persuasive, and have good negotiation skills
-
Should be
confident and motivated and should be a good team player
-
Knowledge of
more than one language is preferred as he may have to
communicate with people from different strata and states in
order to sell the company’s products and services
-
Should also
provide strong and effective customer support

Should be
good with numbers and spreadsheets, also have good
presentation skills

Education and Qualifications
Telecommunications sales representatives should have degrees in
business management with history in sales and marketing.
Industry experience is preferred.
